Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser is another popular cleanser on Reddit. It is gentle with a creamy texture that lathers slightly. I have found mixed reviews, some people find it gentle for their sensitive skin while others find it stripping or irritating. It contails coco glucoside, a derivative from coconut, so avoid it if coconut based products break you out.Ingredients: purified water, glycerin, coco glucoside, sodium cocoyl glycinate, acrylates copolymer, caprylyl glycol, mica, sodium chloride, 1,2-hexanediol, titanium dioxide, sodium hydroxide, disodium EDTA.

Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam
The Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam is a Japanese self foaming cleanser (foams up by the pump mechanism) meant for double cleansing, not to remove makeup. It has a pH of 5.5, is alcohol free and fragrance free. The Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid cleanser is a "holy grail" (favorite) on the asian beauty subreddit on Reddit.com. However, I have found some reviewers who find it drying so it is probably best for normal to oily skin. I picked up this cleanser on a trip to Hong Kong years ago and really liked it for my normal to dry skin.Ingredients: Water, PEG-8, Butylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, TEA-Cocoyl Alaninate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Glycerin, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Methylparaben, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Starch Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Succinic Acid.

Using a good face wash is essential with you are trying to get rid of acne. The main of purpose of using a face wash for acne is to remove excess oils, dirt and makeup from the skin which would otherwise clog pores. Most of the face washes on the marked for acne contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. However, as face wash is only left on the skin for seconds it will not do much to treat the acne you already have and harsh ache face washes can even be too drying for the skin, which in turn causes even more acne.
It is far better to use a gentle pH adjusted cleanser that wash away oils but doesn’t strip the surface of the skin from moisture. The best face wash for acne should have a pH of around 5.5, which is the pH of the skin. If you use makeup you should double cleanse, removing the makeup first with either micellar water or an oil cleanser, and afterwards use a pH adjusted cleanser to clean the skin. Make sure to patch test any new skincare product before using it on your face. Click here for how to patch test skincare products.
